This year, Dopper launched an international movement to generate awareness about the problem of single-use plastics flooding our oceans every day. We launched this initiative through an online campaign in social media, website/display ads and PR comms to raise awareness and invited individuals, organizations and brands to join the fight for the oceans.
This is a call to arms for all ocean lovers, to become a drop and form a wave to wash away this global issue.

The launch
On June 8 the Dopper Wave was launched, airing a brand video with inspiring stories of 8 ocean-saving heroes that are making an impact in their communities.
To join the wave, we asked people to take 4 simple steps:
1. Ban single-use plastic water bottles.
2. Drink from the tap whenever you can.
3. Always bring your own reusable bottle.
4. Encourage others to join the Dopper wave too.
A set of teaser videos announced our biggest campaign yet.
We directed the traffic and all our communication to Dopper's website, where they could sign the pledge against single-use water bottles, join the wave and upload their picture to get a Dopper wave filter.
Animated gifs were created from the video to generate content and to be shared online.
